When I get an offer from a new client the first thing I do is look at their company webpage to get an idea of their business.. They could be an innovative AI company holding their annual event in Madrid and are looking for a creative photographer to capture their best moments.. If this is the case they often have their own lighting expert working with a dedicated Madrid crew. It's always important to consult with the AV crew to check out the colour temperature of the plenary stage and see if there's any lighting for their break-out rooms etc. But my basic rule of thumb is all events are different and unique with their own challenges. Some big events need well edited imagery sent out live for social media and I've got the best team in town of talented high-end Madrid event photographers. Only the best will do right?
One of my my most important clients, the London-based Exile group, hold Export Finance and Energy Infrastructure Finance events worldwide under their brands TXF, Proximo and Uxolo. As well as their all-important session panels delegates attending really rate their networking breaks.
